Gotta love Jim O'Donnell...

CELEBRATION TIME COME ON!!
The OVD Cup run against Pollok continues - May 1998 Arthurlie 4 Pollok 0, October 1998 Pollok 2 Arthurlie 3, October 2005 Pollok 0 Arthurlie 0, Arthurlie 1 Pollok 1 (3-1 Pens)
The Barrhead men had an ace up their sleeve in shotstopper Kris Robertson
- good to see he's finally realised the quality of Kris - i mean anyone who can produce better form than ian wilson in a shoot out, and keep out scotland's number one striker (copyright j o'd) gavin friels must be worth a scotland call up!
With nine minutes left Lie substitute Charlie Hobbs tempted Aitchison into a challenge which decked the front man and left referee Stevie Nicholls with little option than to send the defender inside for his second yellow card
- so the great jim o'd thinks that the red card was justified - guess he must disagree with every other pollok fan out there
Over the two games we've been the better side and created more scoring chances, but the big decisions have all gone against us
- oh dear mr sneddon, sour grapes make for bitter wine. but then again it's not you who will be celebrating on OVD final day now is it? maybe if you had chosen to play with an attacking line up instead of one front man then you might have converted all these chances you created. or maybe if you could have kept eleven men on the pitch for either of the games...

Elsewhere, former 'Lie player Graham MacKay netted the opener for Yoker in their OVD tie against Bonnyrigg before the east region side came back with six unanswered strikes.
