Arthurlie rounded off their pre-season fixtures with a rousing fightback which left Cambuslang dead and buried at the full time whistle. The match also marked the debut of club captain Roland Fabiani in the heart of the defence.
The visitors raced into a the lead in the first half, with the opener coming in 15 minutes after some loose marking, before the lead was doubled as Evans failed to hold a bouncing effort and the rebound was tucked away. The fightback began five minutes before the break with Ricky Orr continuing to display his evident hatred of tap ins as he rattled the ball home from fully 25yards.
The second half was the John Bradford show, with the big striker taking his pre season tally to six and only being denied a hat trick by a penalty save from Johhny Robertson. The equaliser did come from the spot, Andy McFarlane being pulled down in the box and Bradford despatching the ball to make it 2-2 before he had that second penalty saved. Bradford had the last laugh though with fifteen minutes remaining, firing the ball home on the half volley from sixteen yards.
